As a staff member of the German * realcritique community I always watch for users who give good, useful and constructive comments. Please take your time now and read the lines below about how to comment on a better way. If I forgot something or if you have more tips: please note me. Thanks!
Not every comment must be like I described it here - But at least these ones, you want have better answer as "Thanks" on it.

In this place I also want to inform these users who want to comment my works: with immediate effect I won't answer on simple comments like "awesome", "wow" or continual one-liner. Feel free to pick up some tips from the positive way (see below) and you'll get a answer for sure. But please do also note that I won't hate you if you do it on your way - I just think it's better for both sides to choose the positive way


positive

pre-conditions:
- Take your time!
- Often you may use the full view to see (important) details!
- Let the work sink in, feel the effects at first!

typing:
- Your associations?
- Your feelings after you saw somebodys work?
- What do you like?
- Why do you like it?
- Are there things you dislike?
- Try to explain why!
- How can the artist improve his/her work?
- Ask things, you care about!
- Be constructive!
- Be fair!
- Respect other opinions!
- Care about your spelling skills!

One- or two-liner can be expressive too - It counts how and what you write (about)!
Try to apply just some of these points/tips and you'll see that it's much easier for you and the other ones.

basically:
- Don't comment for the comments' sake: it's not important that everyone can see your comment on first place!
- You won't be cooler for every comment you have given!

typing:
- Write at most 1 line!
- Your content: "awesome", "good", "cool", and other one-word-or-smilie-wonders!
- use just lower case and wrtie ta leastt os fsat tath no noe lese si abel to erad tihs (write at least so fast that no one else is able to read this)!
- If you dislike someones work just say something like "bad piece of work" or "i dont like it" - but don't give him/her tips to improve!
- Just your opinion counts!
- Make clear that you say something like "I like your work, but mine is much better"!
- Use excessive smilies!
